Trusted Solutions in Packaging

Protecting your cargo, every mile of the journey.

We build cargo protection products that perform in the real world, not just on a spec sheet. Every load we help secure is a commitment we take personally.

Welcome to Dunnage Systems Incorporated

Dunnage Systems Incorporated has spent more than three decades solving one problem: keeping cargo intact from the moment it leaves the dock to the moment it arrives at its destination. We supply dunnage airbags, void fillers, load securement materials, and bulk packaging products to freight operations across the nation.

Every product we manufacture is built for the demands of real freight — not laboratory conditions. Our customers range from small regional distributors to national logistics networks, and every one of them receives the same level of technical support, product consistency, and response time that has defined our reputation since 1992.

About Us

Strength in Quality, Precision in Protection

Freight damage is not an accident. It is almost always the result of a gap in the load securement specification. At Dunnage Systems Incorporated, we close those gaps. We work alongside procurement teams, logistics coordinators, and dock managers to identify the correct product for each load profile, transport mode, and void configuration.

Our manufacturing process has not changed its quality standards in over 30 years because the expectation we hold ourselves to has not changed either. The product you receive on your fiftieth order is built to the same specification as the product you received on your first.

Long Term

Customer Relationships

Our Mission

A world where every shipment arrives exactly as it left. We are building toward that outcome one product, one customer, and one solved freight challenge at a time.

Our Vision

To manufacture and supply cargo protection products that perform consistently under real freight conditions across every transport mode. We exist to reduce freight damage, simplify load securement, and give procurement teams a supplier they can rely on without follow-up.

Our Story

Dunnage Systems Incorporated opened in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1992 with a specific focus: building better dunnage airbags for the US freight market. What started as a focused product line has grown into a complete cargo protection offering covering inflatable bags, void fillers, FIBC bulk bags, stretch wrap, rubber mats, and load securement accessories. Three decades in, the founding principle has not shifted.

Why Choose Us?

A structured approach that turns your vision into results, every step of the way.

Expertise

Thirty years in freight packaging gives our team an understanding of load securement that goes beyond catalog knowledge. We have seen what fails and why. That experience shapes every product recommendation we make and every specification we confirm before an order ships.

Quality

Every dunnage airbag and load securement product we manufacture is held to the same construction standard across every batch. No substitutions between orders. No quality variation between your first purchase and your fiftieth. Consistent specification is not a feature we offer. It is a baseline we require of ourselves.

Customer Focus

Our team responds to quote requests within one business day. We confirm the right product before the order is placed, not after a return request. We calculate void fill requirements, recommend construction levels, and support dock crews during transitions, all without an additional service charge.

Innovation

The freight industry does not stand still and neither do we. From AAR-certified polywoven dunnage bags to eco-friendly paper void fillers and cordless inflator tools, we continuously develop our product range to match the real and changing demands of USA freight operations across every transport mode.

Achievements and Expansion

What began as a small operation focused on a single product category has grown into one of the most complete cargo protection supply programs in the USA. We now serve freight operations in construction, agriculture, automotive, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, and logistics sectors across all 50 states.

That growth has been driven entirely by results. When a customer’s freight damage claims drop after switching to our dunnage airbags, they stay. When a procurement team finds that our bulk pricing and one-day quote turnaround simplifies their sourcing cycle, they consolidate. We have not grown by expanding our sales team. We have grown because the product works.

We remain a direct manufacturer. No distribution layer. No markup chain. The person who answers your quote request is working from the same facility where your bags are produced.

Our History

Commitment to Excellence

From the start, we set one standard: the product that ships must perform as rated, every time. That means consistent construction, tested pressure ratings, and documentation that matches what is in the box. We have not lowered that standard in 30 years and we will not start because a customer is ordering at volume.

Sustainability

Paper-based dunnage bags, recyclable void fillers, and eco-friendly packaging options have been part of our product range for years, not as a trend response but because sustainable materials that perform are simply better products. We continue to expand our recyclable and reusable product lines because protecting cargo and protecting the environment are not competing priorities.

Looking Forward

The US freight market is changing. Rail compliance requirements, intermodal growth, and e-commerce volume are all reshaping what cargo protection needs to look like. We are expanding our certified product range, deepening our technical documentation, and investing in product development that keeps our customers ahead of their freight challenges, not behind them.

Origins and Growth

Dunnage Systems Incorporated opened in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1992 with a clear focus on void fill solutions for the US freight market. Three decades later, we remain headquartered in the same city with a significantly expanded product range, a national customer base, and the same direct-manufacturer approach that made us the go-to supplier for freight operations across the country.

    Any Questions?

    Questions About Dunnage Bags

Your cargo deserves care at every stage of its journey. If you have questions about how dunnage airbags work, which construction is right for your load, or how to place a bulk order, our answers below cover the most common questions we receive from freight buyers across the nation.

    What are dunnage bags?

Dunnage bags are inflatable void fill bags placed between cargo inside trailers, railcars, and containers to prevent load shift during transit. Available in kraft paper constructions rated 2-ply to 8-ply and polywoven constructions rated Level 0 to Level 5, they replace wood bracing and foam blocking with a faster, cleaner, and more consistent solution at the dock.

Dunnage airbags install in under two minutes per void without tools, carpentry, or cleanup. They are lighter than wood, cleaner than foam, and more consistent than either across different void sizes and load weights. For operations running high daily trailer volumes, the time and material savings compound quickly across every shipment cycle.

We supply dunnage airbags in standard widths from 12 inches to 60 inches and lengths from 36 to 96 inches across 2-ply, 4-ply, 6-ply, and 8-ply kraft paper constructions and Level 0 through Level 5 polywoven constructions. Custom sizes are available for non-standard void profiles. Submit your void dimensions with your quote request and we will confirm the correct size.

Load capacity ranges from under 45,000 lbs for 2-ply kraft and Level 0 polywoven constructions up to 240,000 lbs for 8-ply kraft and Level 4 to Level 5 polywoven constructions. Always select a bag with a rated load capacity that matches or exceeds your actual cargo weight per void position. Our team will confirm the correct rating before your first order.

Yes. We supply AAR-certified dunnage airbags in 6-ply and 8-ply kraft constructions and Level 3 through Level 5 polywoven constructions for rail and intermodal applications in the USA. Full AAR compliance documentation is available with every rail-grade order. Contact our team to confirm the correct construction level for your specific railcar and load application.
